ADRIAN BERNAL
 
Adrian Bernal is an award winning producer with 5 Emmy
nominations and 2 Gold Promax awards.  He currently works
for his own company Adrian Bernal Creative Inc., where he works on television programs, documentaries and feature films.
 
Previously Adrian helped to create and launch Georgia TeVe channel 150, Atlanta’s first independent Spanish language TV station. Adrian oversaw Creative Services, Production, Promotions, and New-media and was the station’s official voice-over talent. Later he became he became the executive producer of Atlanta’s first 30 minute Spanish language newscast, Fox5/ GeorgiaTeVe Noticias.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Adrian was recruited by CNN to help launch the networks first foreign language service. During his time at Telemundo/CNN, Adrian covered such stories as the fall of the Berlin wall, the San Francisco Earthquake and the first Gulf War among others. His career at Turner Broadcasting stretched 12 years and included working at TNT and Cartoon network Latin America.
Adrian is a member of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences NATAS, a member of the Atlanta Press Club APC, and the Media Communications Association-International MCA-I.  A licensed interpreter, he is a board member of the Atlanta Association of Interpreters and Translators AAIT and serves as President of the Georgia Association of Latin American Journalists GALAJ. He is a native of San Antonio, Texas.
